We got your material on the new plant and were thrilled for you. I wish we were in a position to be able to help you. A few years ago, our congregation talked about taking a segment of willing people and planting a work in the area but ultimately decided to build a 1650 seat, multi-million $ worship center to seat our 2000 people so we could continue to offer a smorgesbord of programs. We went from six moderate-sized services and three Sunday School hours to two services and two Sunday Schools. As far as I'm concerned, you made the better choice.

Uncle Stephen and Aunt Shanthi made in home, although we haven't seen them yet. We went to Lincoln last weekend for their Harvest of Talents and had a great time.

We are all reasonably fine (in a manner of speaking). Clifton-Paul got a mild concussion at last night's football game but is alright, and James is very slowly starting to recover from a broken sternum--yes, that's sternum, not ribs. He goes back for follow-up on the 4th. We are praying that there is evidence of healing, or he may be looking at surgery to wire it together. The rod in Uncle Dick's leg most likely "broke," as he is having a lot of pain with it and complains of it "sliding around" when he walks on it...I "suggested" he get a cane or crutch in his hand (not that I expect him to do it). That's probably all the news for the moment, and I'm terrible about writing, so you probably need to set it aside for a month and then pull it out for one more glance. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! We love you all.

Indeed I agree that we need to handle some of life issues that are way beyond our ability to cope. Situations that hurt us are sometimes deep-rooted problems that we are in need of healing.

Do visit my blog - www.issuesoflife.wordpress.com where I discuss about life issues and how we need to handle them. Will be looking out for some of the topics that you'll be discusing.

So, is this your permanent website now? I hadn't had time to get into the lifetimesurrender website for awhile, but I followed the "sign" to get here. Thought I might get an update from the pics and letter we recd a little while back. Things are really tight at the moment, but Uncle Dick and I will send a little $ as we are able. Love you all.
